Online Check-In
Allows you to print your individual boarding pass once your booking is paid in full. You may access your information including boarding pass, luggage tags, etc by going to www.carolstraveltime.com and clicking on more in the top menu, then click on cruise edocs and you will be directed to the correct page for your individual reservation. Please note that you will need your Carnival booking number to proceed. If you need help, call Carol.
Passport
It is strongly suggested that you have a passport. It expedites the debarkation process and it is necessary in the event you have to fly home due to an unexpected emergency.
Carnival's Mobile Travel Alert Service
You can opt to receive travel alerts which will text timely and important information or updates about your cruise. Simply provide a US mobile number in the guest information section of Online Check-In. Texts will not exceed 10 messages regarding any schedule changes on day of embarkation.
Gratuities
If you wish, you may prepay gratuities for your dining staff, maitre d' and cleaning personnel. If you do not prepay, service gratuities will be automatically added to your onboard account at the rate of $11.50 per person per day. At your discretion, you may adjust the gratuities at any time during your cruise.
Cell Phone
Service is available onboard. International roaming rates apply and are set and billed to your home carrier. It is very advisable to contact your carrier before you cruise to check rates and ensure your plan allows for roaming. Also check with your carrier for service onboard ship and while in ports of call.
Internet
Satellite internet service is available via WIFI throughout the vessel.
Internet Cafe
Open 24 hours. You may purchase Time Plans for terminal usage. There is no refund for unused minutes. You can choose to pay as you go for $.75/min, or buy 45 min/$29, 120 min/$59, 240 min/$89, etc. Printing of documents is available at a one time activation fee of $3.95 plus $.50 per job.
Liquor and Beverage Policy
I bottle of wine or champagne may be brought onboard, per person, in carry-on luggage. There is a corkage fee for consuming the wine or champagne in dining rooms of $10 to $14. You may also bring 12 bottles of non-alcoholic beverages of 20 oz or less in carry-on. No coolers allowed.
Soda
Cards are available for purchase onboard which allow you to order unlimited sodas from any beverage venue. The cost is $48.30 per person for the length of the cruise.
Time of Embarkation
You may pre-register at the port starting at 11:30AM. However, embarkation starts at 12 noon til 2:30PM
What To Wear
Light, casual clothing and low-heeled shoes are best. Please bring a rain coat or jacket for your comfort in case of inclement weather especially during shore excursions. Evening wear in the dining rooms should be cruise casual, no flip-flops, ripped or torn jeans, shorts or bathing suits. On Elegant Evenings, for those who wish to dine in the main dining rooms, guests are asked to dress in more elegant attire such as suits or tux for men and cocktail dresses or evening gowns for the ladies.
Smoking
Prohibited in all public areas except in designated exterior deck areas, in areas of the casino and certain dance or jazz clubs. Prohibited in all staterooms. Guests with balcony staterooms may only smoke on the balcony.
Transfers
Available the day of or immediately after your cruise, Carnival offers transportation between New Orleans International Airport and the Port of New Orleans. Complete flight information must be given at the time of reservation. One way transfer is $23 per person, round trip is $46. Acceptable flight guidelines are 2 PM for latest flight arrival and 11:30 AM for the earliest departure.
